Glasgow Spurs member and Spurs season-ticket holder. Cricket nut. Love running and travel too. Former journalist, now work in communications. All views mine.
Good performance and result for Spurs today, albeit against a poor Everton. Sparky debut from Odobert; Maddison edging back to form; Sonny still a bit off it but two goals will help; and Van de Ven imperious at back and charging forward. Needed that after Monday night.
Important win for Spurs to end a horrible run. Nowhere near our best but dominated the second half and could and should have scored more. Flickers of Maddison returning to form. VdV superb. Big summer of signings and sales neeeded. Board have to back Ange.
Two thrilling matches today that confirmed once again that Test crickets is, and will always be, the greatest form of the game.
Brilliant, dramatic wins for England and West Indies against all the odds.

@easyJet I'm having to send this because I can't reply to the email you sent rejecting my claim for reimbursement of a taxi fare from GLW airport to my home after flight EZY414 on 16 September was 2.5hrs late - arriving after midnight, when there were no buses to city centre.
You rejected it on the grounds that the delay was under three hours. This is odd, given you reimbursed the (higher) taxi fare of a friend on the same flight (he was going in the opposite direction, so we couldn't share). I'd appreciate an explanation please.
Definitely had the rub of the green but we've been overdue that against Liverpool. Thought we were good until they went down to nine. But brilliant start to the season and the mood change Ange has engineered in such a short space of time is astonishing.
Games like this - when your team equalise in the 98th minute and win it in the 100th - are what make football so addictive and why we keep coming back for more despite all the misery of being a supporter. Two hour delay to flight back to Glasgow somehow not a bother now #TOTSHU
What a joy to watch a Spurs team playing on the front foot again. It's early days and there will be bumps along the way but hearing fans chant "We've got our Tottenham back" is testament to Ange's impact. Maddison is superb but Bissouma, Sarr, Udogie and Van de Ven class too.
What a brilliant Ashes series. The thought of Test cricket's future being in doubt is bewildering to me. ODIs and T20s can be entertaining but they can never hold a candle to Test cricket - and especially the way this England team now plays it.
Brendon McCullum's greatest legacy (ironically) could yet be to save Test cricket from death at the hands of the short form of the game by importing its best traits to the long form. In the meantime, his England team are a joy to watch.
What a huge loss Stuart Broad will be for England - superb bowler and a brilliant competitor, who came alive in Ashes series.
Great talker on the game too, he seems a cert for the commentary box next.
What a damp squib of a sporting Sunday - the most thrilling Ashes series since 2005 ended by the weather, and a rain-soaked Open on course to be a procession for Harman. Even Spurs' pre-season friendly in Thailand has been rained off.
Amazing five days of cricket. Nip and tuck all the way but Aussies so often find a way to get over the line. Huge task for England to regain the Ashes now and big questions over spinner, wicketkeeper and possibly even Jimmy Anderson. Test cricket is the best.
Just over two days in and this Ashes series already has the makings of a classic. Stokes and McCullum don't get everything absolutely right but they are revolutionising the way Test cricket is played with their bold and innovative thinking.
