modafinil bromantane cheat-sheet for focus warriors who'll still be winning in 20 years (no nuked receptors):
dose
modafinil: 50-200 mg
bromantane: 50-200mg
(start low, around 25% of higher end of dose and work your way up over 4 days then determine your sweetspot)
timing
modafinil: first thing in the morning, empty stomach
bromantane: first thing in the morning or 4-8 hours after modafinil, empty stomach
administration
modafinil: oral or sublingual
bromantane: sublingual or intranasal
weekly cycling
modafinil: 3-5 days per week (up to 7 during critical times)
bromantane: 3-7 days per week
long term cycling
modafinil: one week off each quarter
bromantane: if dosing everyday, go for a lower dose for about a month at a time, then go off for 6 weeks - the effects will last.
modafinil side effects solution:
- headache → hydrate more with electrolytes (sodium, magnesium, potassium). take alpha-gpc 300 mg at ingestion 2-3x/ week. for some, headaches come even with proper hydration. they usually stop (permanently) after max 7-14 days.
- muscle tension/ neck rigidity → proper hydration (replenishing electrolytes), movement, stretching, you can also experiment with lower dosages. as with the headaches, it might happen the first few times - if it does, it usually stops soon after.
- may decrease the effectiveness of orally administered hormonal birth control (don't take it if on)
bromantane side effects solution:
none if cycled as specified
potential side effect for both: sleep disruption → magnesium l-threonate, taurine, glycine, l-theanine, silexan, pinealon, epitalon, read before bed, and just fucking exhaust yourself more throughout the day.
then there is also cases of highly rare but serious side effects like SJS - but i am not going to dig into that because pretty much every medical compound used on earth has rare and disastrous side effects (antibiotics can cause SJS too, for example).
be smart and follow the above points and you might just fuck around and get lifechanging benefits while simultaneously not just maintaining but IMPROVING long-term cognition.
