Vincent Deck Update: Great Success. I definitely didn't crash a photo opp at Supanova to hand deliver it. Matt had no idea what he was holding, but he did find out afterwards. Hope you enjoy playing this as much as I enjoyed making it @matthewmercer

I love both Magic and Riftbound. Each has it's strengths and complexities. One thing I've grown to love about Riftbound is the intricacy of having two battlefields and how scoring works. Tempo management is so dialed to 11, and the opportunity cost of going to combat is so high.

High powered magic is based. cEDH as a concept and community however repeatedly proves itself to be a joke. Just play real competitive formats. As much as I love this game, and casual commander, cEDH is some hobby horse world championships type shit.

Aurora gets hate but at least counter play is easy to understand and games end quickly. These loop decks like Lux are very unhealthy for the game. Can't imagine having to endure playing vs it at locals. If one can't even explain let alone execute a combo in 15min, it's a problem

Cooked up a quick B4 Scarlet Witch deck last night and in 3 goldfishes, it's threatened a win on turn 4, 4 and 5 respectively. Seems good!

I've been cooking up a 4 colour deck that I'm running at in pauper. Last night it had multiple people crack up laughing because of the jank cards I was playing and how they were actually working to get wins. Then lots of deck building discussions. W people, and Magic at it's best

Can't help but suggest that any Aurora haters buy this guide, then go read the section on their deck to understand how to play against Aurora itself from the Aurora master. If I was frustrated by the card it's what I'd do to get better to try to win the matchup.

When I first started writing, I would sell guides to big companies. I started selling for $25 store credit.
After I won US Nationals, I sold that deck guide for $250. Most I ever got from a guide was $300~ I've been writing guides for almost two decades. Millions of words written over the years.
I put all my knowledge about Aurora into this Sivir guide. Figured it would be some nice extra cash. Never imagined it would do numbers like this.

Tinkering with my freshly built Rengar list. It's a good thing I bought all the cards last week before @samdsherman's run in Vancouver. Heard at least two people at Nexus Night hunting for cards to build it 😂😂😅
