What makes me upset is the lack of understanding that no one is being ostracized for allonormativity (minus queer sexual/romantic orientations of course).

all other sexualities in the viral sea drawings are with their partners, so its a bit sad to see asexual be the only one alone. not all asexuals are aromantic, aces can have romantic partners too.

This very well may not be the case, but in my personal experience, especially last year and this year with the tracing debates, there have been many people using DNI lists to target artists. Ex. Artist who Trace/reference, beginners, low quality attacks, etc.
I fail to understand how setting clear boundaries on who you would prefer to stay out of your space is "against the spirit of artfight".
More and more it feels like expressing your boundaries is such an unwelcome thing overall.

Again, removing DNI does not remove any preexisting safety and privacy rules. We still have global permissions. Theyāre also working on adding a filter system to accommodate.
I think having it as a rule is silly, but why are people just making shit up š

Do I think they needed a rule? Not at all thatās kind of silly. But also, I lowkey agree with the sentiment of the rule and think DNI lists are stupid and pointless unless itās involving age restrictions.
