Closed beta for my Monster Hunter Dos archipelago randomizer is being tested today, had a fun way to add "weapon permits" (locking you from most weapon types until you unlock them): Forcing Dummy (generic MH placeholder you can't get) as material until you gain access

Maybe visually least impressive (I should be more like the Spyro AP devs and make a proper front end) is the client. The rando is entirely via memory injection/PINE (no patches needed) getting it to actually recall every byte without folding at slightest pressure was a nightmare

I'll definitely show it off on stream soon but know that I've decided to also go full evil (farcaster trap will also wait until you're in a quest PLUS five minutes). The one thing I'm still bashing my head on is the way MH2 handles status bc I'd love para/poison/stun traps
