🚨Hey Cardano community,
I’m raising this as a genuine concern because I care deeply about our ecosystem’s growth. The last thing we need right now is to create a secluded environment on Discord.
We’re already somewhat on an “island” as a project—known for strong fundamentals, thoughtful development, and a dedicated community. Engagement has been a persistent challenge for us compared to more hype-driven chains. Fragmenting discussions into private or invite-only Discords only makes that worse. It limits visibility, discourages new people from joining the conversation, and reduces the healthy debate and idea-sharing that actually moves the space forward.
Closed spaces can feel comfortable, but they risk echo chambers, slower onboarding, and missed opportunities to attract builders, users, and partners who are active elsewhere (Twitter/X, Telegram, Reddit, GitHub, etc.). Cardano’s strength has always been in transparency and long-term thinking—let’s lean into that instead of retreating.
