We have had an amazing term in Batheaston working with yr 4 girls, yr 1,2 and reception. We helped @growbatheaston with the community day on Saturday and have donated a signed @BathCity_FC ball with thanks to @JerryGill_2 to help raise funds. We hope to run summer activities too

Heatbreaking. The bombing must stop.
Now, more then ever, we need mainstream voices speaking up for children like this one, speaking up from amidst the rubble in Gaza. She asks questions that should haunt members of the UN Security Council. We need int’l action NOW to stop the bombing.

This is the problem, right here. An industry that has failed on diversity and inclusion and excluded people of colour now marking its own homework. societyofeditors.org/soe_new…

Hi all, I’m updating our British Values policy. So far I’ve got: Misplaced superiority Cultural ignorance Religious intolerance Claiming all fish are British Deliberately mispronouncing foreign names Not mentioning the war Passive aggression What have I missed? Thanks x

If someone had told us a yr ago to seat pupils in front of screens for hrs on end, including our youngest learners, there’d have been professional outcry. In the rush for provision of remote learning, we mustn’t lose sight of what is best for our children developmentally long term

Countless people have suffered because Williamson sent millions of children back to school for one day. And that’s just one of an incredible list of abject failures by this government. Yet not one of them. Not one. Has taken responsibility for any of it.

Teachers are the last people who want schools to shut down. They understand the serious impact lockdown will have on students better than anyone. When they say it's too dangerous to reopen in full knowledge of this, we need to listen to them. Trust teachers, not Tories.

Did Boris Johnson REALLY just say that schools are safe but people mixing inside schools isn’t safe? So the buildings are safe (when empty) but not when people are in them. If things weren’t so bad right now his ineptitude would be laughable #dailybriefing
