It is the first thing we receive and the last thing to leave us - breath. Be still and appreciate this life giving force as you pull it up through your nose and into your lungs enjoy all the sensations as it enters and departs your body. Be grateful. Have a wonderful day.

If you think about it, 1989 is objectively the most impactful album of this century. -most awarded pop era (which includes an AOTY and an Emmy) of all time -named the album of the century by The Times -widely regarded as the “POP BIBLE” -made Apple Music change their artist royalty policies within 24 hours -brought back 80s Synth pop to the mainstream pop scene -helped Max Martin, the biggest producer of all time, win his first grammy 2 decades into his career and also it was the first his work was praised by the critics -launched Jack Antonoff's career as a mainstream producer -Spotify CEO literally took 20 trips to Nashville to convince Taylor to bring 1989 and the rest of her discography back on Spotify And now it's being selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress for being culturally, historically and aesthetically significant

True or not, this duet with Mary J Blige remains my favourite guest performance on that tour. Wiz Khalifa coming in at a close 2nd.

a little reminder that taylor removed her entire catalog from streaming platforms in support of new and smaller artists 11 years ago and not a single artist supported her

I have a PhD in political science from Oxford, focused on US foreign policy; worked as a State Dept. official in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Middle East; and wrote a celebrated foreign policy book taught at universities like Princeton. That's why I get geopolitical questions.
Question: When did Ronan Farrow become a foreign policy expert??? Answer: He didn’t. Don’t waste your time watching other men mentally masturbate. The Bulwark is nothing more than a different version of chatroullette.

The fact that if Obama runs in '28 and does two more terms he will only be one year older (75) than Schumer is now should give people pause, I think.

When I was a kid, bedtime was 9 pm. I couldn't wait to be a grownup so I could go to bed anytime I wanted. Turns out that is 9 pm.

Watching Taylor's @newheightshow episode for the umpteenth time and every time I hear her say she's not competitive I cackle. Taylor Alison, girl we all remember the Great Easter egg hunt of 2015 and the war of the eggs in 2016.🤣😭 youtu.be/mCdYsbBsTuU

We don't live alone upon this earth. We are responsible for each other, and if men will not learn that lesson, then they will be taught it in fire and blood and anguish. (An inspector calls)

This is one of the hardest things to deal with because while I am not interested in deflecting - doesn't solve the problem - context and feeling understood are everything. This doesn't mean I can't accept I was wrong; I just want you to see how I came to this decision.
