DA is not M2's worst move. Most would prolly say it's either UpSmash or Dair, but imo it's actually Fsmash. It's too situational, the only consistent use I can see for Fsmash is as a disable punish. In most other sitiuations you are better off going for Dsmash or something else.

Mewtwo's fair can also combo & kill confirm into itself out of a full hop nair on DI in (clip1) & should your opponent DI away preemptively to escape the second fair, the first fair might just kill straight up (clip2) To kill you need to be off stage tho but it works on stage too

Oh also I hit this at the local Mewtwo’s fair used to true combo into itself in smash 4 and I’ve always wondered if it’s still possible. Checked with the hitstun calc and apparently under these specific circumstances—mid percents, DI in, frame 3 airdodge—it can actually work :0

But even if it doesn't kill you are always in a good position to just finish the job (see clips). So yeah, if you play Mewtwo I urge you to implement this combo route into your game plan. Once you understand and master it, it's so rewarding and cool ofc.

One note though: I'd recommend you only go for fair after a full hop nair if it's either too early for up air to connect or on DI out. Otherwise fh nair -> dj up air -> fair seems to be just better (see clip).
