On this day in 1981, the first regular season college baseball series was televised by @espn.
Ron Fraserโs Miami squad hosted Rod Dedeaux & powerhouse USC at Mark Light Field to open the season.
The Canes won the opener 7-6 and swept the series en route to a 39-1 start in 1981.
