✈️ Last Friday, the Air Force held its change of command ceremony at Kleine-Brogel Air Base.
Lieutenant General Geert De Decker handed over command to 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀.

Yesterday, the Air Force Alumni Networking Event took place in Beauvechain. Our former pilots were introduced to the opportunities within the reservist community and how their experience remains highly valuable. 🌟
DART Challenge at Florennes & Kleine-Brogel enhanced training through advanced LVC simulations and complex scenarios.
Our Air Chief met the teams and highlighted the importance of innovation.

From today until Wednesday, our fighter pilots will train along the coast, resulting in increased flying activity and occasional brief noise peaks. These flights are essential to maintaining operational readiness.

Yesterday, a ceremony marked the closure of our Operational Conversion Unit (OCU) in Kleine-Brogel.
For nearly four decades, the OCU trained our Belgian F‑16 pilots for operational missions, a proud legacy now preserved at the Kleine Brogel museum.
