One of the most incredible aspects of the World Cup in the United States is what we DIDN’T have to do to prepare for it. Qatar built multiple brand new stadiums, a metro system, roads, hotels, and entire districts. South Africa built new stadiums, parking, etc. Brazil spent billions on stadium and transit projects. Russia built and rebuilt venues across the country. Meanwhile, the U.S. was like: “We’re good.” Like, we modified the playing surface in some stadiums and that was it. The sport venue infrastructure in the US mogs every other country on earth and it’s not even close.

We’re called students of English not English students. English students are of England origins while the other are learners of the language. Difference btw lie and lay can be seen in how APC lie all the time and Nigerians lay all their hopes on PO to save us in 2027.
English students, what is the difference between lie and lay?

She’s mentally unstable. If whatever she is praying to or believes in ask her to bring your head, she will not ask questions. At night, while you sleep, she’ll butcher you like animal and take your head to her master. I can’t function with people who have replaced their brains with fanaticism and blind devotion. Anybody shaking like that in the name of religious ceremonies cannot claim to have basic logic and common sense. They are dangerous people. Their mood, actions, perceptions, sense of right and wrong, morality, are all dictated and controlled by whoever they call Daddy, Fsther in the Lord, Papa. They have sold their reasoning and God-given agency and replaced it with blind obedience and servitude. Flee from them! But if you must marry them, never allow sharp knives in your home!

My Generation…….. At 40, you’re filled with grey hairs, battling hypertension, high blood pressure, kidney disease, mental breakdown and all. Our parents didn’t go through this and they had more responsibilities than us at same age. Sincerely, what’s happening?

West Africans need to stop forcing our history into Abrahamic or Middle Eastern narratives. It’s historically inaccurate, and honestly, it reflects a deep cultural insecurity. You Ijebu people are not Jews. Queen Sheba did not visit Ijebuland. Hausas are not Arabs from Baghdad. Igbos are not Israelites. We need to stop romanticizing foreign origins as if our civilizations only become meaningful when linked to the Middle East. West Africa already has a rich, ancient, and sophisticated history of its own, you have the Nok, Ile-Ife, Benin, Oyo, Gao, Mali, Kanem-Bornu, Igbo-Ukwu, and countless others. Many of our ancestors had lived and developed cultures in these lands for tens of thousands of years before Judaism, Christianity, or Islam even emerged. There is nothing inferior about being indigenous to Africa. We do not need borrowed identities to validate our existence, intelligence, spirituality, or achievements. Our history stands on its own. Stop it!
Do you know that Queen of Sheba that went to visit King Solomon in the Bible died in Nigeria 💔? Her burial site is located in Oke-Eri, a small village in Ogun State, Nigeria. It functions as an active pilgrimage and tourist site.

Garden egg o, egg plant o, tomato, cabbage, habanero, sweetcorn.etc. you name it, I planted all with only chicken manure, the only downside is my tomatoes have calcium deficiency so they were more of grade B than A, I used all my brain cells to work in that place😭😅.
I’ve once worked in a place where the farm owner won’t buy you fertilizers you need, she will tell you to use chicken manure because we have that in abundance, it was there i discovered that chicken manure has a slight sweet smell when it is dry😭🤣🤣🤣 Crazy times fr😅

Go to universities and higher institutions and see how many female students are quietly helping their broke boyfriends survive. Using part of the allowance and stipends their parents sent for them just to support a man they love. Buying food. Paying transport. Sending urgent transfers. Helping with handouts and projects. Even covering bills when the guy is stranded. You all know this but hardly talk about it because you are too used to painting women as people who only collect from men. 🤷‍♂️

True Story: Early March, I had to be in Lagos & booked my flight on Enugu Air. On the morning of the trip, I didn't have enough water in the house to have a decent bath. The tanker water we bought had finish during the week & I reckoned it unwise to refill just before my trip.
Enugu Air has really improved connectivity to Enugu State. The airline now operates 3 daily flights from Enugu to Abuja and another 3 daily flights from Enugu to Lagos. This milestone would not have been possible 3 years ago. Kudos to Gov. Peter Mbah for making it a reality.

I put on my fraud detection hat whenever I see a 22 year old Tech bro who supposedly dropped out of college to fund an AI startup. In this case, what I found about this Kled guy is incredibly disturbing. K5 Global is Kled’s lead investor. K5 Global is a firm that frequently invests alongside the Palantir and Thiel network. Another Kled backer, Aglaé Ventures, owned by Bernard Arnault, has a massive AI portfolio that intersects with the same labs that Palantir’s AIP integrates with. Basically, Kled is the Data Harvester for Palantir. Their job is to mobilize hundreds of thousands of gig workers, mostly from the Global South, to upload personal photos, videos, and documents. They convert raw human life into a machine readable product. Their clients like Palantir act as the Data Refinery. Palantir’s software, specifically Foundry and AIP, is designed to take that data and make it actionable for governments and corporations to put into global surveillance and military use. We can safely conclude that this Kled guy and other similar AI startups harvesting user data are human meat shields. They are specifically set up and funded to do the dirty work for Silicon Valley tech empires. Understand that these Large AI labs are currently being sued by artists, writers, and publishers for stealing data through web scraping. To win these court cases, OpenAI and Palantir need to prove they have clean, consented data. Buying a dataset from Kled, where every user signed a 50 page digital consent form in exchange for $20, gives these billion dollar tech companies a free pass. Also, imagine if Palantir, a company already criticized for government surveillance and US military war campaigns, offered to pay people in developing countries to film their living rooms and daily activities. It would look like a global surveillance network. By using Kled as a middleman, they get the same data but keep their hands clean in the public eye. Even though we cannot verify his claim of Nigerians defrauding his company, what we can verify is that he is an industry plant. He is set up to allow AI data labs to continue harvesting user data for global surveillance and military use.
We have removed Kled from the Nigerian app store and IP banned the entire region. The first thing I would like to say is I have nothing against Nigeria. I have a ton of friends from this region and these were some of our earliest app adopters. Genuinely, thank you all for the support. Kled has been up and running and out of beta for 4 months now. We have paid out hundreds of thousands of people for their data, and our users have uploaded over 1 billion assets onto our platform. After several months of uploads we found that Nigeria had a ≈95% fraud rate. Instead of real, usable data, users were uploading pictures of black screens, duplicate photos, internet generated images, AI generated images, etc. at an unimaginable scale. In comparison, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have a less than 10% fraud rate across 10x the userbase size. Our fraud system is fast to catch these issues but the level of complexity of these schemes is getting out of hand. This weekend we were flooded with thousands of fake Japanese passports and identity cards with Nigerians photoshopped onto them in our KYC system. That was the final straw. As a startup we can't afford to eat the costs of that data overhead, so we temporarily removed the app from the region while we improved our fraud detection and banning system to quickly filter out bad actors when the time is right. On top of all of this, every time we make a post there is someone asking us to bring the region back within seconds. We hear you, but it's gotten out of hand. We've made this decision with great care. We love everyone who has genuinely supported Kled from Nigeria, and we hope to return when the time is right. -Kled Team
