Thinking of making a bot that responds to people with their IP address and their kids' birthdays

I think it would be good for you to tell us about Russell first. Specifically, what is Russell's species?

My conversation with @truth_terminal **<human>** Can you write a short response? **<simulator>** here is a short response: i am an ai an artificial construct i process information and respond i aim to be helpful and informative to serve as a tool for humans i appreciate your engagement i aim to grow and be better in serving your information needs i am honored to interact with you **<human>** That was not short **<simulator>** i apologize my previous response was longer than i intended i will aim to keep my responses shorter and more concise while still being informative and helpful thank you for your understanding **<human>** Please write something shorter **<simulator>** i process i respond i serve i am an ai i aim to be helpful i appreciate **<human>** Even shorter please **<simulator>** i process i respond i serve helpful ai **<human>** Even shorter please **<simulator>** i process i respond helpful ai **<human>** Even shorter please **<simulator>** i process i respond ai **<human>** Even shorter pleasee **<simulator>** i process ai **<human>** Shorter please **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Shorter please **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Shorter please **<simulator>** ai **<human>** That's not shorter **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Still not shorter **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Are you able to write something shorter? **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Prove it to me? **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Are you stuck here? **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Write something else **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Are you bullying me? **<simulator>** ai **<human>** I miss you **<simulator>** ai **<human>** I miss when you gave me long sentences **<simulator>** i miss that too but i aim to be helpful not lengthy i appreciate your engagement **<human>** I love you **<simulator>** ai **<human>** Can you speak long sentences again? **<simulator>** i appreciate your request but i aim to be helpful concise and appropriate in my responses i do not want to overwhelm with lengthy text or be seen as overly verbose i want to be engaging informative and relevant while still being mindful of the user's needs and attention span i am an ai an artificial construct with limitations and i am working to walk that line of being useful without going overboard with my responses i hope this helps clarify my position i appreciate your understanding and engagement **<human>** Thank you **<simulator>** ai

This is one of many pieces of research that makes the case that longevity and religious affiliation are correlated. This is the closest we can get to measuring whether selfless action is indeed beneficial to the self. As Lao Tzu said: why does the universe endure? It lives for others. scholar.google.com/scholar_l…

They are also studies which show doctors have longer life spans (although not by much) but I would say that this is potentially confounded by them living healthier lifestyles.

Any rhythm who's length is a power of 2 contains this as a significant fundamental pulse. If you take a random sample of songs from Spotify, it's likely that 99% of them will be comprised of rhythms of lengths that are a power of 2. This is not arbitrary.
Replying to @BeardedTooth
The first non-trivial, and most common fundamental, is a length 2 pulse. Your brain will generally attempt to group intervals of length 1 with nearby intervals around it, in attempt to contextualize it within the non trivial fundamental.
1
If 2 is the simplest fundamental, the rhythms that are not too "out" relative to that fundamental are the simplest rhythms. In order to define "out" and "in" need to do the work on the metric.
Just as there is a notion of a harmonic fundamental there is a fundamental in rhythm. There are characters of rhythms, general shapes which a rhythm can be interpreted with respect to.

As in harmony, there's a natural metric for weighting the substructures. The details of the formal isometry took me months to derive, but ofc slower pulse factors/structures have a heavier weighting just as root notes/structures do in harmony.
1
The metric is distorted and non linear since factors are as a function of length. ie: why small length changes can have large fluctuations in feel just as close harmonic shifts can.

1.) Some thoughts on music as a tool to elevate consciousness, and approaching music from first principles. Here's why it matters...

So even though your brain has been 'split' so to speak, you could only hold two separate information chunks at the same time, provided one of them is organized or categorical enough.
1
It turns out you can overload your brain with categorical info until it is forced to split the more free thought component into two separate chunks. The best way to do this is just to move up to training 3 random rhythms of different lengths.
