This resort hopping discourse makes me realize Disney actually needs more secondary stuff to do that's not theme parks, like what Discovery Island, DisneyQuest, or Pleasure Island was. People want the Disney experience but at lower costs than the full parks.

WDW was already outpricing so many people I fail to see any logic in continuing to push that boundary. They priced so many people out, this is just pushing it further.
WDW is the touristy resort but that doesn't mean you need to trash it for all the locals (1/2)
NEW: Our 'unpopular opinion' is that this is a positive change for paying guests. Backlash seems largely due to confusion or frustration by those who were exploiting a hack that Walt Disney World is closing. If anything, more rules like this are needed. disneytouristblog.com/disney…

My passes recently expired and one of the ways I planned to still visit was to resort hop and all that, view the water pageant...
I would STILL spend money, buying soda, eating quickservice, now I can't do any of that

Doc Sugrue's Desert Kebab House has closed and walls have been extended around the area. The restrooms in the back are still open at this time. @UniversalORL
