I would give 110/100, but there were little things that annoyed me, stuff like how late you get the Magic Key.
Other than that, DQ II HD2D legitimately was perfection in my eyes. Revitalized my love for casual gaming & gets me excited for Zenithian Trilogy Remakes!

Yeah, this artwork right here shows that the DQ XII Design, including the tired look, can actually look GOOD.
Some of my oomphs don't like the design, but I honestly do. The style of the game just doesn't compliment it.

Legitimate bias, that's really it.
A better answer is that his design is not only the most different from every other protagonist in the series, but also (for some reason) people disliking Toriyama's artstyle before he passed.
