β€œIt doesn’t take the cancer away, but it helps you through the journey.” Baillieston Councillor @Lalley4Labour was handing out roses to patients at the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow today. It’s become a yearly tradition after he underwent treatment for prostate cancer at the same facility eight years ago. @Beatson_Charity staff say it’s a small gesture that makes a huge difference to patients attending the centre.
