πΈ1972: a Beck and a Becker's & the reason why there are no Yellow cabs in Toronto - TPS vehicles claimed that colour nowhere but here. People would call all the time for a "Becker's Taxi" and still, thanks in part to Beck's beer brand, we get requests for "Beck's Taxi". #Toronto

Hailed a taxi, driver demanded a (high) flat fee to get us home. We declined, asked for meter, he refused and asked us to exit vehicle. Hailed @BeckTaxi right behind us, nice driver used the meter, paid him same amount the original driver quoted (~80% tip, but felt way better)
