Please make sure your sleeping bags are packed and fasten your seatbelts as we come in to land.

The applicants are spread across an area of 1,396.8 square Km, as shown in the image below. Because of this we need to be really firm on our approach to COVID.

Well after 4 days of deliberation and a three hour meeting between us on zoom last night we have narrowed the 130 applications down. At 1800 today the results for the attendees of the WSJ selection camp will be announced. Good luck to all!

For the last fortnight, a small dedicated team have been interviewing Bedfordshire leaders for the Jamboree in Korea 2023. It's been difficult, as there has been many great applications, conducted both in person and over Zoom πβοΈ

The process included having over half of our selection team being in their teens (keeping this #YouthShaped), all bar 1 attended a Jamboree, a mix of adult leaders and roles within the County, as well as diverse group such as members of the LGBT community, for example.
