My coworker just told me a crazy story
He's into astrophotography and his Mac he uses to render the photos is from 2012, he tried to upgrade yesterday but couldn't because of his credit union
He drove 3 hours, one way, to get it and came home empty-handed
The amount was over his daily limit on the debit card so he took his check book
Kid at the register didn't know how to accept a check 🤣
Called someone in the back to bring up a manual for instructions
So he goes thru the instructions and one step is to call the credit union
The credit union starts asking questions, is this for business or personal use? WTF?
There was a bunch more to it than that, but the moral to the story: if your money is in a bank, it ain't yours.
The manager is involved now and told my coworker if he comes back today he will get the Mac plus a $300 discount
I hope no more problems come up today for him
Just trying to spend his own money
