For the past few weeks Google Maps has been increasingly unreliable stopping me updating anything.
To that end I've been quickly learning Open Street Map and I am now happy to share the link : u.osmfr.org/m/1334010/
The Google map will remain but will not be updated.
Good morning!
A few Android users experienced issues when trying to install the new version of the app which resulted in a blank pubs database.
The cause was identified yesterday by the developer and should now be resolved.
Guide News!!
The App is back!
It's taken a while but the new look version of the app is available for both iOS & Android.
There is no charge, but should you so wish there is an option to donate within the app.
All feedback gratefully received.
I headed back for another try at @TheWansteadtap but given what I heard earlier I'm not surprised they are still closed. I just hope that they can get through this. They have my very best wishes.
Stop 9 is one that a few people suggested today, The European, a sister pub to The Holly Tree. 15 taps and three handpumps. Decent range, but maybe not quite so good as The Holly Tree.
A short hop on the bus to the William the Fourth. Made famous by Brodies and now run by @ExaleBrewing. 12 taps and 4 handpumps offering mostly their own beers but with some guests.
A ten minute walk down to @fillybrook. No problem just sitting down for a beer. 20 taps of well chosen beers. Current food offering in the rotating kitchen is Chinese.
Short walk to stop 2, the original home of @PrettyDecentBC. Internal layout has changed with the kitchen gone and the bar moved to the left as you enter. 10 taps of their own beers on offer
2 hours after closing my front door I get to stop 1 for today, The Holly Tree in Wanstead. Imposing corner pub with 20 taps and 5 handpumps offering a really good selection. Separate areas for families and adults only.
Short walk to the last stop of the day, The Northumberland Arms. Another great locals pub and the tap for Tiny Vessel. Two of their beers on plus some great European beers.
A couple of stops on the bus to @blackdogbeerhse. Fantastic back street locals pub with a great beer range and an on-site brewery, one of which beers is on today.
