We lock eyes.
That dangerous, breathless pause — kiss or restraint.
“A coin?” Klaus murmurs, amused.
“Heads, we make out. Tails, we behave.”
He flips it smoothly into the air, never breaking eye contact.
“Call it,” he says softly.

The way we look at each other before we either make out or pretend we don't want to: a 50-50 chance. To the coin we leave the choice, with heads meaning making out and tails meaning not making out.
