The very first rule when it comes to Decoding Architecting Context? => Ask the Right Questions. How to ask the right questions? => Learn to Separate the Thoughts. How to separate the thoughts? => Avoid Judgement. Avoid the hurry to reach an Yes or a No. @Team1001Stories

Behavioural Science Club retweeted
"Ab isise daant bhi brush ho jaye, to bas Jeevan dhanya ho jaye" (Now if only I could brush my teeth using this, life would be almost perfect.) The D2C founder's mind changed. In just 2 seconds. Never mind Henry Ford, Consumer Truths & PoVs do help understand need-gaps better.

Dilip Kalita was my next door neighbour and 10 years older to me. He was the greatest Ganja seller in Guwahati in the 1990s. Dilip sold stuff from Shillong, Manipur, Darjeeling, even Bhutan maal at times. What blew my mind was: Dilip Kalita never smoked Ganja himself.

And maybe once back, one could stare at the final question: What's the story that emerges? - 9 of n

Last week she got back from Hopcoms - 'Bread is not 55 anymore. Cost is now 60." Two days later, she was at Leon Grill, 100 ft road. "These days Leon Grill serves less fries and nuggets. We are still paying the same money. I think they don't.." - 11 of n

"I think they don't want to raise price like Hopcom did for bread." She thinks about it for a minute. "You know baba, you can teach this to your clients. If things are costly, you don't have to raise price. One solution can be to offer less at the original price." - 12 of 12

"The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are". Samuel Jackson offers us a powerful tool here. Essentially, the idea is to let go of our biases and our preconceived notions. - 7 of n

I guess one could start the walks with: 1. What can I see that I would normally ignore? 2. What does it make me think? 3. In what ways can I be wrong about what I am thinking? And in what ways can I be right? - 8 of n

All right. I'm out. I see. What next? Sherlock chides gently. "You see, but you do not observe." All right. How do I observe? - 3 of n

Very profound. Like Ankur Warikoo's letters to his 20 year old self. Or Aviral's posts, half of which end up 'quiet compounding in ___ ) But also, totally faltu. Unless one knows how to make it actionable. So how to actually make it useful? How to actually observe? - 5 of n

"You can observe a lot just by watching", says Yogi Berra. Bro.. what. the. heck. This is reminding of my baba quip: "Kabhi Gadi Nau Pe. Kabhi Nau Gadi Pe" (Sometimes the vehicle carries the boat. Sometimes the boat carries the vehicle.) - 4 of n

The maverick filmmaker Herzog says: "The world reveals itself to those who travel on foot." Got it. To start with, I guess just gotta go out. Go out to where the people are. Bus stops. Train stations. Markets. Movies. Malls. Pubs. Temples. Churches. Or Church Street. - 2 of n

"I notice things, and what I notice is that nobody else notices much." - Robert Benchley. Oh boy! I would love to notice things. Seems like the most magical of 'real' powers. But how? - 1 on n @Team1001Stories @rorysutherland @dilipsoman

No one really knows! All we have is 'possible' explanations. For a state that could easily be the world's 4th largest economy, if independent! Maybe it was from a novel. Maybe it was an indigenous word. Maybe it just means 'hot furnace'. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - 2 of n

Is it weird that the origin of the name is lost? Being able to trace where one is from, what it means - adds to our identity. For me, it's always been important - that I'm from LA. Not Los Angeles. Lower Assam.
