OpenAI's new search engine SearchGPT puts the pressure on Google, with what the startup says are more natural and intuitive results that include sources, similar to @perplexity_ai's product. Just the announcement alone was enough to send shares of $GOOGL down 3%.

I forecast sales for customers in Israel. This is tricky because product demand fluctuates based on the Hebrew Calendar, not the Gregorian Calendar.
Integrating custom holidays with the #Prophet model by @AIatMeta boosted our MAPE by 41.67%.

I was so lucky to be able to have Danny Kahneman as a best friend and collaborator for decades. He usually ended our conversations with "to be continued..." but I now have to simulate his part which is impossible. My favorite image of us "working".

Here's my take: rather than reacting to an immediate discomfort, maybe I should give myself a chance to habituate.
