13 years ago, I had just been reelected to Congress when my life and community changed forever. Six people were killed, 12 others injured, and I was shot in the head at a Safeway in Tucson. Our community lost so much that day, but we came together and found hope in one another.

Today marks 13 years since six people were shot and killed and 13 people were injured, including our founder @GabbyGiffords, at a Safeway in Tucson, Arizona.
As we remember the lives that were taken and those forever changed that day, we will never give up the fight to prevent future tragedies.

Banning ghost guns had bipartisan support amongst DAs because it is a matter of public safety.
Also, the ban keeps domestic violence offenders & minors from making their own gun.
And prohibits a “switch” for converting a semi-automatic to automatic.
