A Valuable Life Lesson:
When I was 21 years of age I was a member of the Montclair State College (Montclair State University) Swim Team. I helped supplement my education by working part time as a life guard at Bally's Total Fitness in Livingston New Jersey.
He began to speak; something inside of me said - be silent and listen. I did just that as he lifted his right arm out of the water and showed me a long chain of digits tattooed into his flesh running inside and up the length of his forearm...!!!
He said, "I am a Warsaw Prison Camp Survivor"!
Today I will share one of the many teachings he gave me on that fateful day!

Murder is
the unlawful, intentional killing of a human being with malice aforethought, distinguished from other homicides by premeditation or extreme recklessness. It is generally classified into degrees (first, second) based on intent and planning.
Irma Ilse Ida Grese[b] (7 October 1923 – 13 December 1945) was a Nazi concentration camp guard at Ravensbrück, Auschwitz II-Birkenau, and Bergen-Belsen. She has been widely known as the "Hyena of Auschwitz" and the "Beast of Belsen" for the atrocities she committed in Birkenau.
Camp Guards (Aufseherinnen): Approximately 3,500 women served in various camps, including Johanna Bormann, Elisabeth Becker, and Wanda Klaff, many of whom were tried and executed for war crimes.
Key Female Nazis and Roles:
Irma Grese ("Hyena of Auschwitz"): Known for extreme brutality at Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen, she was executed at age 22.
Dorothea Binz: A supervisor at Ravensbrück concentration camp recognized for her sadistic treatment of prisoners
Gertrud Scholtz-Klink: The highest-ranking female official, she led the National Socialist Women's League.
Magda Goebbels: Wife of Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, she was a prominent Nazi figure and a symbol of the ideal Nazi mother.
Female Nazis in the Third Reich served in various roles, from ideological, political positions to brutal,,,
front-line camp guard duties, often operating with extreme cruelty.
While the regime pushed women toward the roles of mother and wife, roughly 3,500 women served as Aufseherinnen (guards) in concentration camps, including infamous figures like Irma Grese, Dorothea Binz, and Gertrud Scholtz-Klink
