Today marked a new milestone for @Bellwetherdst. TerraPower Isotopes broke ground on its new radioisotope manufacturing facility that will help fuel the future of cancer treatment, right here in South Philadelphia. HRP Group and TerraPower Isotopes joined with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, City of Philadelphia, federal, and industry leaders at today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the $450 million project, which will create hundreds of construction jobs and 225 new permanent jobs in Pennsylvania’s life sciences industry. Today isn’t just the start of a construction project; it’s the start of an ecosystem where a changing landscape will change lives. At HRP, unabashed optimism and the relentless pursuit of what’s possible are in our DNA, and in TerraPower Isotopes, we’ve found an innovator who shares that commitment.

Where the next generation of engineers meets the future of development at scale. The Bellwether District welcomed early‑career engineers taking part in the @ACEC_PA FutureNOW initiative for a project overview and career panel with members of the @thehrpgroup and @Pennoni teams. Participants also had the opportunity to get an up‑close look at HRP’s progress transforming the 1300‑acre site into a state‑of‑the‑art industrial and innovation campus – connecting emerging talent with a project shaping what’s next.

This National Apprenticeship Week, HRP is proud to support the next generation of talent. Across our platform, we’ve sponsored 450 apprenticeships, investing in skills, opportunities, and stronger communities.

We were honored to host @PhillyMayor, @CouncilmemberKJ, leaders from business and government at The Bellwether District for a roundtable discussion and tour focused on the incredible economic development happening in Lower South Philadelphia and how we can work together to accelerate job creation, investment, and long-term growth. Mayor Parker also announced the first cohort of PHL PRIME, a new citywide initiative to accelerate high-impact business expansion and job-creating projects, which included two Bellwether District tenants, DrinkPAK and TerraPower Isotopes, alongside our neighbors at @PhillyShipyard and @Rhoads_Inc. Meaningful employment can be a true turning point. @thehrpgroup has been proud to partner with @ceoworks (CEO) and @Philaworks to create transitional employment opportunities for those returning from incarceration that have led to nearly 175 individuals securing permanent positions. What began as a time-limited initiative has grown into a nearly five-year partnership, currently funded by HRP, supporting landscaping and beautification work at @Bellwetherdst while helping participants build skills, stability, and pathways to permanent employment.
