Today was a special day.
I officially qualified to appear on the ballot for Florida’s 9th Congressional District, and I was honored to have my grandmother, Mildred Butler, by my side as I signed the paperwork.
At 97 years young, she has seen nearly a century of American history, and she has always been an example of faith, hard work, family, and perseverance. Those values helped shape who I am and why I’m running for Congress.
As a ninth-generation Floridian, I understand that we don’t inherit this state from our ancestors—we borrow it from our children and grandchildren. That’s why I’m running: to protect our way of life, strengthen our communities, and ensure the next generation has even greater opportunities than the ones we’ve been blessed with.
I’m grateful for my family, grateful for the support we’ve received across District 9, and grateful for the opportunity to earn your vote.
Let’s get to work. Let's send a farmer to Congress. 🇺🇸
