UPDATE: Per @nbcchicago, Rep. Dan Ugaste from Geneva is proposing a new plan to help keep The #Bears in IL, which includes lowering property taxes.
"This entire debacle has exposed the serious flaws in our property tax system. My legislation will help keep the Bears in Illinois while lowering property taxes for everyone."
The big concern in all this has been protecting the IL taxpayer. Sounds like Rep. Ugaste is onto something. π
