Great way to combat over populated deer and helping those who need food. 🦌

Hundreds of deer were killed in areas like Druid Hill, Herring Run and Leakin parks, with the goal of reducing the population and limiting damage to neighborhoods and roadways. Officials say the effort could help provide up to 40,000 meals, with the meat donated to the Maryland Food Bank.
As Ashley Paul reports, the initiative is already showing signs of success, but it’s also sparking conversation across the community.
