Pro tip: if youāre binging a reality TV show (the āļø) and itās fucking with your bedtime... turn the ep off around the 20 minute mark (early in act 2) instead of watching until the end!! Thereās always a lull around that point as opposed to the end which is designed to hook you.

Donāt wish to wade into the controversy but just watched Two Distant Strangers and found it VERY powerful. Absolutely did the job of communicating an emotional experience to someone (me) who could never understand it otherwise.

Clubhouse in January felt like high school. I was a shy follower surrounded by poseurs trying to join the popular crowd. Clubhouse today also feels like high school. Only now Iām a drop-out smoking a cig as the entire school bus flies off a cliff.

Iām the era of elevated and actually well-crafted blockbusters (Marvel etc), I was surprised at how unabashedly B-MOVIE Mortal Kombat was. Really loyal to the 90s films.

Even if this teenage girl was attempting to stab someone, it's so profoundly wrong that her death should be the outcome... justified... acceptable... there's got to be a better way to deescalate even imminently violent situations than four gunshots to the chest. RIP Makiyah.
