Smart delay. Q3 and Q4 are already very packed with big games on various platforms. Including of course the behemoth that is Grand Theft Auto 6

This is year is packed with incredible games for XBOX players to enjoy, from Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 to Control Resonant, Star Wars: Galactic Racer and Grand Theft Auto VI. In order to plan our game launches through the holidays, in a way that works best for players, we’re moving Fable to February 2027 so it can have the dedicated moment it deserves. We’re excited to be giving players a major new look at Fable, as well as our broader lineup, at XBOX Games Showcase on June 7.

Fable is a game thats been in development for many years, so will obviously carry with that a large budget The end of this year already has plenty of big games that will be taking a toll on people wallets. Smart move to give it a different window and better chance to succeed

Logging in just to say give every single animator that worked on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 every award immediately. The cinematography is absolutely insane and incredible. They should be so proud of what they accomplished with their art

Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026. We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

While I was away I still kept a close eye on the industry. I see a lot of worrying trends. The biggest of which is how expensive its becoming. Everything from hardware prices, game prices, subscription prices and more. If the trend continues I can see many people being priced out

Typically at this point in the cycle is where getting into a console is supposed to be cheaper. It's where you get console sales to those less well off financially and kids to buy in and sustain a late tail Thats not happening. In fact consoles are only going up in price

Console and AAA isn't doomed. The hardcore are still spending keeping everything afloat But how long does that last? What's the tipping point? This was already a feast or famine for expensive to produce games. What happens when buyers get even more picky on what they can afford

Thought the Xbox Showcase was absolutely fantastic. One of the best they've ever had So many games in there I'm incredibly excited about. Gears of War E-Day, South of Midnight, Fable, and too many others to list. Congrats to all the developers and Xbox teams on that great show

Looks like the full specs / architecture of Switch 2 are mostly out there now minus a few last pieces of info (clock speeds) Really excited to see what Nintendo 1st party games look like. What they pulled off with limited Switch 1 tech was impressive and this is a big jump
