This is Toshiaki Toyoda’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. TRANSCENDING DIMENSIONS is hypnotic cosmic cinema. Toyoda in pure visionary mode! I am genuinely thrilled Adam and @thirdwindow are putting this out.

My first read of 2026 was Bora Chung’s THE MIDNIGHT TIMETABLE, translated by Anton Hur. I absolutely loved it! A connected horror anthology about haunted objects in a strange institute that is darkly funny and oddly humane. If you like CURSED BUNNY, this needs to be on your list!

Park Chan-wook’s CUT is a twisted meta satire! A chamber piece on a film set that explores the frustrations of filmmaking through dark humour and violence. Lee Byung-hun is brilliant as always too! It’s even got a link to THIRST that he ended up making 5 years later! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Takashi Miike’s BOX is a surreal, haunting and beautiful piece of work that requires multiple viewings to unpack. For this reason there are a lot of people that think this is the weakest of the three, but I think it might be the strongest! Disturbingly deranged ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
