Had a great experience at my first college camp at Texas A&M! Thank you @Coach_Dougherty and @CoachTThompson for the opportunity to compete and learn. Finished in the Top 3 of the kickoff competition and charted 6/10 on field goals. Hit one off the upright and narrowly missed another. The experience showed me exactly what I need to work on as I continue adjusting to tighter college uprights. Grind every day. Tonight’s Kennedale Football Banquet was something I’ll never forget. 🏈 I’m incredibly honored and grateful to receive: 🏆 District 6-4A Special Teams Player of the Year (Freshman) ⭐ Kennedale Special Teams MVP (voted on by my teammates) Being able to contribute as a freshman starter on varsity meant a lot to me, and none of this would have been possible without my teammates, coaches, and everyone who pushed me throughout the season. 🙏 A huge thank you to Coach Barrett and the entire coaching staff for believing in me, giving me the opportunity to compete, and challenging me to grow every day. To my teammates, thank you for trusting me and making this season special. Earning an award voted on by you guys means a lot. 🤝 Grateful for the memories, lessons, and brotherhood.
