1/6 To my students: The problem with the SAE levels (0-5) is that these are simply engineering targets, not products to buy. Whenever engineers define a system, you have to target a perfect level. A perfect score. A goal to aim for.

Modern times in Estonia. A robot which had become stuck in the snow, saw me coming, and asked with a synthesised voice whether I could help out. So I did, and both of us carried on with our day.

Only 1 lobbyist? Really? Isn’t that beneath the threshold of caution that Toronto Council normally takes? Luckily for council this is a tiny business that may be unable to afford legal help. Easily crushed. But next year when an Uber or Amazon arrives, then what? @kristynwongtam

Instead of trying to justify more sprawl-enabling highways by stating the obvious - that transit, cycling and walking kinda suck in the areas north and west of the GTA - a real leader might ask why that's the case, and how we can find ways to stop digging the pit deeper.

Jeezus, my gmail spam is now climbing to about 50 per day. It's so bad even Google can't count correctly. These 5 came in over about 45 minutes. But google only counted 4.

My Step-Son was badly injured when his bicycle handlebar clipped this Light Post. He fell in the road and was struck by a car.
@SRQCountyGov and @MyFDOT said they only need to make the sidewalk safe for #wheelchair Users.
This doesn't sound right to me.
