Germany is opening new coal plants. Australia is pushing a "gas-led recovery." China's emissions are back up to pre-Covid levels. India is opening up elephant reserves to coal mining. Trump is enacting the fossil fuel dreamscape. This "recovery" is suicide. We have to stop it.

Germany is opening a new coal power plant this summer. It’s run by Finnish state-owned Fortum.
Swedish state-owned Vattenfall is already operating new coal plants in Germany.
Everyone involved claims to be “climate leaders” but this is the opposite of leadership.
This is failure.
