you cooked with this something people don’t really talk about with quantum is that it’s not like there will be an actual date or countdown set for “Q-day,” most likely, it’ll just happen at some random point so every day of preparation counts and steps like these are huge accelerants to being post quantum secure great to know we have our defenses stocked

What if the validator queue you're monitoring isn't the one that matters? Ethereum's deposit pipeline has been redesigned twice since Phase 0.
Yet validator states like pending_queued still point users toward a queue that no longer gates activation. Meanwhile, the real bottleneck lives in state.pending_deposits, and isn't exposed by the API.
As Ethereum's staking infrastructure matures, accurate state reporting becomes critical for understanding activation latency and building reliable monitoring tools.
In our latest blog, we explore how the deposit pipeline works today and propose validator states that better reflect reality. 🐜

Exiting ~7,000 Validators: A Case Study in Optimizing Ethereum Validator Exits In December 2025, A41 announced their decision to wind down validator operations across all networks and conclude its participation as a Lido Curated Node Operator. Contributors optimized their exit to minimise protocol reward loss under a constrained timeline. This case study presents the approach, operational execution, and lessons learned from the exit. ↓

Today we announced an actively managed Bitcoin derivatives program facilitated by Kraken and Bitwise. The program is designed to generate volatility income and hedge downside risk. "Bitcoin's implied volatility is one of the most persistently mispriced assets in capital markets." - @tylev @krakenfx @Bitwise

The past few days have been intense, but I wanted to give some updates as we continue to work on this. Our priority is our users, and every decision we are making is aimed at an orderly return to normal market conditions and the best possible outcome for everyone involved. Working around the clock, the team has made progress on multiple paths forward with several partners. The Arbitrum Security Council also recovered $70 million in ETH, which could meaningfully reduce the potential exposure, and multiple discussions and solutions are being considered. I am confident we will move towards a strong resolution. Reviewing what happened and learning from it matters. But pointing fingers is not something that gets us to the other side of this. Every bit of my energy right now is focused on the outcome for Aave users and the protocol. Aave has been my life's work, and this is an important moment for DeFi as much as it is for Aave. I am deeply grateful for the support and collaboration we have received from builders and partners across the industry. We’ll get through this together and we’ll continue to publish updates on @aave as they happen.

Today I'm releasing github.com/jshufro/remote-si… Since @AttestantIO released Vouch and Dirk in 2020, they have respectively become the industry standard multi-beacon validator client and bls threshold signer implementation. Now you can use Dirk with any Validator Client.

After 5 years on the @ethereumfndn leadership team, I’ve decided to step away and pass the torch. I made this decision in early March, and will wrap up my work at the end of April. I’ve made no plans for the future, other than taking a long break to reset and spending time with my family & friends. Working for Ethereum at the Ethereum Foundation has been a great honour. I’m proud to have worked with great people inside and outside of the EF, and proud of what our community has accomplished together. And I’m grateful to have worked with @aerugoettinea, @dannyryan, @hwwonx, @tkstanczak, @tjuliang, @VitalikButerin, and @AyaMiyagotchi on the leadership team over the years. We share a vision and a set of values that mean I will always be your ally and your friend. This journey has been a gift. I have had the rare privilege of seeing up close how small teams of great people can do the impossible. It has changed how I see the world and my place in it. We do not need to accept the world as it is, or where we fear it is going. That is not hope, it is definite: I have seen the proof. The Ethereum ecosystem has reliably done things the world told us was impossible. It is easy to forget how much real fear and doubt there was that Ethereum would never launch, that DeFi would never work, or that Proof of Stake would never ship. The lesson is not that our success was guaranteed and the doubters are always wrong, but that truly wicked problems can be overcome when great people make an extraordinary effort. You must make an extraordinary effort.

appreciation for how well-run @ethcc is: ⤷ self-serve ticket kiosks (no lines) ⤷ childcare (wow) ⤷ coat and luggage checks ⤷ zero wifi issues ⤷ quick security in venue and also very safe around town! ⤷ side event venues all <6 minutes walking distance ⤷ talks ran on-time, didn't see any AV issues ⤷ stellar weather (i assume they ordered this in advance) the industry vibes could literally be rock bottom but ethcc in cannes would still be immaculate because of location and how well this thing is run kudos @jdetychey & @bettina_boon

That's a wrap on @EthCC! @hongkim__ shared how Bitwise is raising the bar for Ethereum staking. As more of the world’s largest asset managers and institutions enter the space, the need for reliable, institutional-grade infrastructure is only growing.

Ethereum is "slow to finalize" they say, but in normal conditions in fact we are certain that blocks will be final even before the next block arrives! Expect ultra fast trustless deposits soon. fastconfirm.it/

Ignore the noise. Ethereum is shipping. This one I am very excited about - the team working on it has done an amazing job: When an Ethereum block is created, validators immediately start voting. Now, it is possible to use those votes to confirm blocks in a single slot (~13s)!

There are two types of companies / projects in crypto — 1. One-cycle 2. Multi-cycle Admire all who build / contribute, and especially admire those who endure to be multi-cycle players. We’re now entering the next cycle.

Great to see from BlackRock. High conviction on Ethereum, and exciting to see an option that incorporates staking. Crypto is becoming a mainstream asset class —
NEW: BlackRock is launching their Ethereum Staking ETF today -- $ETHB. It will have the same fee as $ETHA at 0.25% bps but has a fee waiver down to 0.12% for the first year or first $2.5 billion in assets.

As we already knew. $ETHB will have @coinbase as its custodian and staking provider. The list of approved validators is short though -- just Figment, @galaxyhq, and Attestant. Notably, Attestant was acquired by @Bitwise and is rebranding to 'Bitwise Onchain solutions'

Even though CT got this slightly incorrect, we're still incredibly proud that the EF chose to use our products. Thanks to @nixorokish for the clarification ❤️
this is wrong but I understand how you got there - the EF is solo staking, using @AttestantIO 's free and open source software to do so. Attestant was acquired by @Bitwise , so they're the maintainers of the software. They are not running infrastructure for EF treasury staking - the EF is running their own infra More info here: x.com/ethereumfndn/status/20…
