Absolutely devastating for the city. Acknowledging how many international locally-rooted orgs we've lost since Brexit, COVID, economic collapse & rising fascism. We are losing infrastructure that makes our city Replaced by copy & paste "units" in a faux development narrative.

A BIG LOSS FOR BRUM
Big reason I ended up in culture from the 2010 edition. Going to have to travel a lot more to see international work outside of the city. Brilliant performances in public space and a great introduction for my little one: exposure and participation.

Itโs a sad loss for the organisation, dancers, choreographers, production crewโs, marketing, security, & everyone elseโs involved in making Birmingham Dance Festival happen. It will have a huge impact on jobs & loss of revenue to the city. #dance #artsandculture
