#SingGeetham: Singeetham Manasulonchi Puttina Chandamama Katha..
Some films are beyond ratings and reviews. Singeetham feels like one of those rare creations.
For me, this is not just a film but a reflection of the imagination of a 94-year-old young man. It reminds us that age belongs to the body, not to the mind. For that thought alone,
#SingeetamSrinivasaRao deserves endless respect.
Words fall short when it comes to describing this film. It is told almost entirely through songs. What may look like an experiment on paper is actually storytelling in the hands of a master. After all, this is the filmmaker who made a silent film decades ago; narrating a story through songs feels like a natural extension of his creativity.
Presented like a beautiful fairytale, the film flows effortlessly once the main story begins. The themes themselves are simple plant trees, nurture goodness, treat people with humanity, but the way they are conveyed is what makes the film special.
The second half is particularly engaging, and the Gold Man portions in the climax elevate the experience to another level. Even without conventional star power on screen, the screenplay manages to create genuine goosebumps.
Many films have explored similar settings, but the treatment here feels refreshingly unique. Every performer contributes beautifully or rather, sings beautifully.
The music is the soul of the film, and
#DeviSriPrasad once again proves his Extreme brilliance. Every song is memorable, meaningful, and emotionally resonant.
At the same time, the effort of
#NagAshwin in bringing Singeetam garu's vision to the screen deserves equal appreciation. Translating such an unconventional idea into cinema is no small achievement.
