NJ’s Safe Passing Law provides clear rules for interacting with vulnerable road users:
1. Drivers must move over 1 lane (following current laws)
2. Drivers must provide at least 4 ft to safely pass
3. If 4 ft is not possible, drivers must slow to 25 mph & be prepared to stop
