As an AD, we made a rule: if a student-athlete quits mid-season, they canβt join preseason activities or the next seasonβs team until the season they quit is over. Purpose: hold athletes accountable to their commitment.

Kids arenβt sure what they want in life. My other daughter thought she hated track at first. She would tell us she didnβt want to do this track stuff.
Now she is at the University of Florida on a full scholarship. If track were taken away from her It would be bad. Force your kids to do activities
