So interested to see who wins Conn Smythe. Stankoven, Staal? If I was voting, I think I’d go Staal just because he was so important to this Cup Final, but taking the whole playoffs to account, I wouldn’t argue against Stankoven or even Marner.
So fitting that the Hall-Stankoven-Blake line has both goals tonight. They have carried the Canes all playoffs. That was a relentless shift to make it 2-0.
Hard to imagine there have ever been two parallel finals series (Stanley Cup and NBA Finals) to deliver so much combined drama. Crazy comebacks, close finishes, no lead safe.

How fun has this Cup Final been so far? Heading into a crucial Game 5 tomorrow, join me and @KenDaneykoMSG for NHL Tonight starting at 6 PM on NHL Network. We'll break down what we saw last night and Dano will give you his keys to the rest of the series.
The goals just keep on coming in this series. Three in the first 7:22 of game 4. 28 goals through the first three games plus 7:22. Entertainment value through the roof.
Canes power play had been silent for much of the playoffs, but comes through with two late goals including the GWG. Series all tied up heading to Vegas for game three.
Other thing we are seeing tonight that is a trademark of Cup-winning teams: capitalizing on opponents mistakes. Neutral zone turnovers, failed clears, bad breakouts, all ending up in the back of the net.
You can really sense why veteran experience matters in this game. Vegas down 2-0, building rocking, and they didn’t panic. Really settled into the game, got to their forecheck and it’s led to two goals this period and a 3-2 lead.
That building in Carolina is incredibly loud even on a routine regular season Tuesday. It’s on another galaxy right now and Carolina feeds off that. Early danger zone for Vegas here after the Ehlers goal.
