It drives me crazy. They say the same about my district. If you're in California and not part of the loony left, they treat you like you don't exist

A few thoughts on this email I got today. First, I find it very interesting that a multi millionaire is bragging about donating her paycheck and saying she shouldn't get paid during a shutdown, when it won't impact her. It would only impact Senators who actually are honest and don't take advantage of their position (are there any?). I believe in addition to not getting paid, legislation should require congress to stay in session, and none of them can leave Washington except for limited reasons such as a family emergency, until the shutdown is ended.

As a conservative Christian pastor, I know I'm an easy target for some. But I bet my critics never had to sit with a grieving parent whose son was turned gay by a Pride t-shirt display in a Target store. When do we get a Straight People month??!!🙏🇺🇸
