It's impossible to explain to a Yank what Cheddar cheese is like. Their only reference point is liquidised knob cheese in a spray can. We should be mindful of their limitations.

I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.

We found another surreal place on our way. I know some people will say I’m too positive about everything I see, but this place was crazy. They had a shooting range in the store.

Do you know this bird? He's a Lazuli Bunting. I chased him around the open space yesterday, hoping he'd land on a decent perch. He finally did and was very cooperative for a few minutes.

Folks I admire are Into the Puritans. I'm not sure what to make of it. Owen, for example, so often seems to have an odor of obligation. There is law even when there is gospel. Am I misunderstanding something?
