Comparison of traffic fatalities Greater London (pop: 9.6 million) with Travis County (1.3 million centered in Austin, TX). 30% decrease in London & 235% increase in fatalities (2014 to 2023) in Travis County. One approach working & one approach not.

In cities such as Amsterdam, car dominance is treated not as a problem to be solved but as a potential to be realized.
And when the decision is reached to reverse that supremacy and fulfill that promise, the results are absolutely magnificent.
