Something to chew on - I normally donβt speak on matters like this, but desperate times call for direct clarification for a few individualsβand you know exactly who you are.
You will never catch me, or anyone associated with
@LoudounSportsAC , lying or speaking negatively about another program. Thatβs simply not how we operate. We pride ourselves on honesty, integrity, and clearly communicating what we offer at LSA.
Unfortunately, there are some coaches and athletic directors who choose to misrepresent the status of our program to young people, while claiming to be men of character with the best interests of those kids at heart. I do not surround our athletes with dishonesty. There is no character in lyingβperiod.
At LSA, our number one goal is to develop young men and women of strong character. That doesnβt happen overnight. To us, winning is helping young people pursue their dreams and developing confident, capable, and contributing members of society. Itβs not about the number of trophies on the shelf or wins in the column. Frankly, that responsibilityβand that mindsetβstarts and ends with me. Culture and character define success at LSA.
Recruiting is primarily the responsibility of the athlete, their guardian(s), and the coaching staff. We do not βgetβ kids offers. Our athletes earn their opportunities through hard work, discipline, talent, and determination. We will never take credit for an offerβbecause it belongs to the young person who earned it. Our role is to guide them, support them, and provide a clear roadmap.
There are opportunities at every level, from Power 4 to NJCAA. An opportunity is exactly thatβan opportunityβand they all matter.
If you have questions or would like to discuss the status of LSA, we are always open to honest conversation. Feel free to reach out, and we can set up a meeting or call. πΊ
