Very few people realise that the vast majority of hospice and palliative care is provided by charity - not by the NHS. I think this is a national scandal. Please RT if you do too 🙏

In this interview with @skynewsniall, Dr Rachel Clarke (@doctor_oxford) emphasises the need to prioritise quality end of life care. Regardless of Parliament's decision on assisted dying, fixing the funding of our struggling hospice and end of life care system is essential.

I can confirm that when i got my flu jab at the pharmacist today, me having a daily asthma inhaler also qualified me for covid vaccine! So if you are eligible for flu vaccine via asthma and want a covid jab too, pharmacy might be best bet. GP has *only* sent me flu reminders!
Just had Covid vaccine and this is the eligibility list for Covid and flu. Asthma with a steroid inhaler, frontline health or social care worker etc. all quietly put back in there. Good.
