For too long, the onus has been unfairly placed on consumers to recycle better and dispose of things properly instead of requiring major corporations that produce the packaging to find alternatives.
Air Canada is planning to eliminate plastic stir sticks... a proactive environmentally friendly change that will save 35-million plastic stir sticks annually - enough to join Halifax to Vancouver, if laid end-to-end. Wow!
