$IOVA šļø Peace Deal in Sight as Markets Eye a Rally!
A final agreement is expected to be signed this Friday in Switzerland. Here's what we know so far:
- The ceasefire has been extended to 60 days.
- The Strait of Hormuz is gradually reopening: no more mines and tolls.
- The US will lift its naval blockade imposed in April on ships moving in and out of Iranian ports.
- The minimum commitment expected on Iran's nuclear programme seems to be 'for all the enriched uranium to be down-blended on site, under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency'. There are concerns that the War will end before an agreement on this topic is reached.
- Pakistan and Qatar have confirmed they'll continue to contribute in favour of the stabilisation and peace in the region. It is unclear what this will translate to in the Israel-Lebanon conflict.
- A regime change is not under discussion. An international mobilisation of funds is expected to support the country's reconstruction and the recovery of the Iranian people. However, as things stand, the end of this war is unlikely to bring them freedom or protection from the Islamic Republic. Any revolution must come from within. We are with you, Iran.
