Got my haircut at a friend's place last night. When I sat in the chair, her dog climbed onto my lap and I got to pet him for the duration of the cut

Lotta people shitting on #Section31, but I just want to point out that another #StarTrek film that eschewed Trek's thought provoking morality plays in favour of fluffy, mainstream, trope-ridden nonsense is considered to be one the best Trek films, for some reason.

Was told yesterday that my grandmother decided to be placed in a medically-induced sleep that she will not wake up from, tomorrow night.
She's 102 and gets anxious if there's too many people, so I'm going to hang back and be happy that we had a good time together on New Years.
