Last night I was honored to officiate in the grand opening of Roosevelt’s new Nature Park and fishing pond. Something that began a few years ago as an idea from one of our members of the Arts, Park and Rec Committee, became a reality last night after many hours of planning, hard work, collaboration and volunteerism. The hard work, dedication, and donations from staff, local businesses and volunteers was astounding! I’m humbled to live in such a generous community, that knows how to come together and accomplish great things.
Thank you to all those that assisted in bringing this project to fruition, and thanks to everyone that came to participate in the festivities!
