The Uinta Basin Railway project will be a huge economic driver and asset for the Third Congressional District and Utah as a whole. I am excited to hear the news that the U.S. Supreme Court will hear the case and will hopefully ease the burden of federal permitting moving forward. Last night I was honored to officiate in the grand opening of Roosevelt’s new Nature Park and fishing pond. Something that began a few years ago as an idea from one of our members of the Arts, Park and Rec Committee, became a reality last night after many hours of planning, hard work, collaboration and volunteerism. The hard work, dedication, and donations from staff, local businesses and volunteers was astounding! I’m humbled to live in such a generous community, that knows how to come together and accomplish great things. Thank you to all those that assisted in bringing this project to fruition, and thanks to everyone that came to participate in the festivities!
